The Maui Arts & Cultural Center is located in Kahului. They host concerts and shows almost every day of the week. The shows range from orchestra performances to dance to outdoor movies and everything in between. Have a Unique Culinary Experience

When you attend a Maui Chef’s table event you get an amazing six-course meal and learn some new island recipes. It is an interactive, multi-course dining experience. The kitchen is right in the room with you so you are able to meet the chefs, see them making the meal, and learn what inspires their work. Keep in mind that young children are not allowed at this event, you must be 11 years old or older to attend.

Stargazing on Haleakala

There is really never a bad time of day to watch the sky from the summit of Haleakala. The sunrise is the number one attraction on Maui for a very good reason, during the day you can see weather forming up to 115 miles away, the sunset is almost as breathtaking as the sunrise, and nighttime stargazing makes you feel like you feel like you are in outer space. The National Park Service offers binocular rentals and star maps that you can purchase at the visitor centers. The National Park is open 24/7 but the visitor centers have more limited hours so be sure to plan ahead if you need to purchase stargazing equipment.

Whether you love belting out your favorite toons on a regular basis or haven’t ever tried karaoke, it is always a fun experience. There a tons of places on Maui that have karaoke throughout the week. Most of these restaurants that have karaoke events start around 9:00 p.m. which means that you have plenty of time to enjoy the sunset on the beach, grab some supper and then get glammed up for a night of singing.

Dancing

Maui has lots of great restaurants and bars with dance floors. Some of the best places to sing karaoke also are known for having the best dancefloors, like Haui’s Life’s a Beach in Kihei. On the other hand, a few of the best places to dance on Maui are where you would least expect. For example, Moose McGillycuddy's in Kihei is pub and cafe by day but a dance party hot spot at night.

Friday Town Parties

Maui Friday Town Parties take place in a different town around the island every Friday of the month. The first Friday is hosted in Wailuku on the west side of the island. The party stays on the western side of Maui for the second Friday which is hosted in Lahaina. Then, it moves to Upcountry Maui for the third Friday party in Makawao. Kihei hosts the party on the fourth Friday of the month and finally, Lana’i has a party on the fifth Friday. Every Friday Town Party is unique because the local artists and businesses in each community give the event flair.
