Hawaii Island is Open for Business!

As most people have seen, there is a lot of action happening on Hawaii Island (The Big Island). The images of the spewing lava is quite a site to see! But, for us here, it just another normal day in paradise. The current lava flow on the Big Island is only affecting about 1% of the Island, the outbreaks of lava from Kilauea are limited to the east side, in an isolated part of the Puna district. This area is located 20 miles from Hilo and 71.5 miles from Kona. Regardless of what’s happening at the remote part of Kilauea on the Big Island’s east side, if you stay informed and listen to warnings and advisories, all officials agree there is no reason to cancel your travel plans to Hawaii. Here is a list of some amazing things to do while visiting Hawaii Island this summer!

Hawaii has some of the most beautiful crystal clear blue ocean waters in the world. Enjoy a day of snorkeling, kayaking or even try a surfing lesson.
