Big Island

March 18, 2018 is the 9th Annual Kokua Kailua in Historic Kailua Village. This event actually can be enjoyed every month. It takes place on one Sunday every month from 1 to 6 pm. This is a “Made in Hawaii” event where you can shop, dine, and buy local. April 1-7, 2018 is the week-long Merrie Monarch Festival. This annual festival is held in Hilo and honors King Kalakaua for his contributions to the Hawaiian people. This festival features three nights of an unusual competition: a Hula Competition!

Kauai

March 18, 2018 is the Analoa Prince Kuhio Day Celebration. This is the 8th annual celebration that is held to reaffirm the leadership, stewardship, and vision of Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalanianaole.

Maui

March 4, 2018 is the Maui 5K For Kids. This 5K run and 1 mile walk will take place on March 4th in Wailuku. This event benefits Hawaii’s public and private schools physical fitness, play, and athletic programs. March 4, 2018 is the Hinamatsuri (Girl’s Day) Festival. This traditional festival is used to pray for the happiness and healthy growth of girls.
