Need help deciding which is the perfect zipline tour in Maui for you? Here are some of the most frequently asked questions that will help you choose!

Where are the zipline courses on Maui?

KAANAPALI ZIPLINE COURSE

Our Kaanapali zipline course is conveniently located in West Maui, just 15 minutes south of Kapalua and 5 minutes north of Lahaina. On the 8-Line Kaanapali Zipline Adventure Tour, you’ll soar high above Maui’s lush landscape and take in awe-inspiring ocean views.

HALEAKALA ZIPLINE COURSE

Our second course is located in Upcountry Maui, on the way to Haleakala National Park's famed volcano crater. It's about an hour drive from Kihei/Wailea and 1.5 hours from Kapalua. On our 5-Line Haleakala Zipline Tour you'll test the boundaries of your comfort zone by zip lining over 90-foot drops and crossing an Indiana Jones-style swinging bridge. Or make a day of it and combine two of Maui’s most popular tours into one great eco-adventure with our Haleakala Sunrise & Zipline Tour.

How much does it cost to zipline?

Our Maui tours start at $139.95 per person. You can always book with confidence with our no-hassle cancellation policy and low price guarantee.

How long are the zipline tours?

Our Haleakala 5-Line Adventure Tour is our shortest tour at about 1.5 hours. The Kaanapali 8-Line Adventure Tour typically takes about 2.5-3.5 hours, depending on group size. Lastly, if you're looking to plan an entire day of outdoor fun we highly recommend our popular Haleakala Sunrise & Zip Adventure Tour. This tour, which is about 10 hours long, starts with experiencing the legendary sunrise at the top of Haleakala and ends at our 5-line zipline course.

Which ziplines are the best for families?

Both of our zip line tours are high-flying adventures that kids and the kid-at-heart will love. For safety reasons we do have age and weight requirements. Our Haleakala Zipline Tours get rave reviews from many parents since it is one of the only family-friendly zipline courses on the island that accommodates smaller children. Haleakala Tours are safe for kids ages 8 and up and weigh at least 60 lbs. Kaanapali Tours are perfect for kids 10 and over who weigh at least 80 lbs. For more information about weight minimums and maximums check out our blog: Why there are weight requirements for ziplining.

Is it worth ziplining when on Maui?

Yes! Ziplining is a thrilling way to see the beauty of the island from a new perspective! Past guests often tell us that our zipline tours were one of the most memorable experiences of their vacation. Our experienced guides are dedicated to making sure you stay safe and have fun. They also love showing you the best of Hawaii, which is why our tours include storytelling along the way so you leave more knowledgeable about Hawaii's rich culture, history and ecosystem.

Why choose Skyline Hawaii?

As America's original zipline company, we've set the industry standard for safety, leading over 3.8 million zipline crossings since our founding in 2002.

We are proud to be Maui's most award-winning zipline tour provider, and a big reason we've been voted #1 year-over-year is our outstanding tour guides. All our guides go through 80 hours (twice industry standard) of training to ensure that you stay safe. They also work to make sure you have fun, and come away with a richer understanding of everything else that makes Hawaii special.

We're also committed to our community and to protecting our fragile ecosystem. Over the last 20 years, we've donated over $2 million to nonprofits and conservation efforts on Maui. When you choose to zipline with us you are helping further these efforts since a portion of each tour cost is donated. Learn more about our mission to Do good. Have fun.
